The Ohio and Indiana Roofing team can provide solutions
to your roofing problems. Their proposal for this large roof
in west central Ohio was to apply a single ply membrane only to the areas
that were leaking. Instead of re-roofing the entire area
as proposed by other roofing companies, the OIR team solved
the problem with ingenuity and cost savings for the client.
The installation crew has years of experience in construction
and roofing. Many of the workers are second or third generation
from families that have devoted their entire careers to construction
and roofing.

Installation
Ohio and Indiana Roofing crew members have received extensive
in-house training on all of our products as well as receiving
hands on training at some of the manufacturing headquarters
located in Indiana and Michigan. Our crews are certified
installers of Duro-Last Roofing, Firestone, GenFlex, Custom Seal, and Carlisle.
Asbestos Training
Federal law requires training on how to properly inspect
for the presence of asbestos and to repair and remove it.
Since it is common to find asbestos in older roofs, our crews
are training to handle any roof situations involving the
presence of asbestos.
CERTA Training
The Certified Roofing Torch Applicator (CERTA) program has
been designed to address the concerns of building owners,
roofing contractors, the insurance industry, fire and code
authorities, roofing material manufacturers, equipment
manufacturers and fuel suppliers. This program provides
the latest best practices and new industry requirements for
the safe use of roofing torches. Not only are our crews
certified, but we also have an on staff CERTA trainer.
OSHA
Training
Crew leaders, job superintendents and other personnel attend
OSHA training and have been certified for the OSHA 10-hour course.
Safety is a priority at Ohio and Indiana Roofing and all crew
members participate in routine safety classes and updates.
First-Aid, CPR, Drug Free Workplace, & Safety Training
Ohio & Indiana Roofing crew members receive annual training in
First-Aid, CPR, and participate in the BWC's Drug Free
Workplace Program. We also have weekly Tool Box Talks on
safety. Our number one concern is the safety of our crew
and our clients. This continual training raises
awareness among the crew members to not only be safe
themselves, but to look out for the safety of others and
carrying that awareness to each jobsite.
